A Connecticut church has come under fire for a YouTube video showing ministry leaders attempting to cast a "homosexual demon" out of a gay teenager. The video shows a woman putting her foot on the teen's neck while he lay on the floor. Another minister pours water in his face.
"Rip it from his throat!" one woman yells. "Come on, you homosexual demon! You homosexual spirit, we call you out right now! Loose your grip, Lucifer!"
Gay and youth advocacy groups accused Manifested Glory Ministries in Bridgeport of abusing the teenager and said the church should be investigated.
Robin McHaelin, executive director of the gay youth advocacy group True Colors, told the Associated Press she planned to report the church to the Connecticut Department of Children and Families. "They have this kid in a full nelson," she said. "That just seems abusive to me."
Meanwhile, it has emerged that gay exorcisms are regularly being performed in churches in Britain. The pastor of one Pentecostal church in north-west London said he held four or five exorcisms a year and claimed they "always worked." However, campaigners said the rituals often traumatised those on whom it was carried out.
Rev John Ogbe-Ogbeide, who runs the United Pentecostal Ministry in Harrow, said he carried out the exorcism to cast out "evil spirits" that were "responsible for homosexuality." There was no minimum age for the ceremony because a "demon" could take hold at any point in life, said Ogbe-Ogbeide.
Human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell said he had heard of exorcisms on children, which was child abuse "pure and simple."
He added: "Some adults who have been pressured into exorcisms have been preyed upon when they're in a vulnerable state and not really able give fully informed consent."
"They're maybe people with learning difficulties or mental health problems. There needs to be a thorough investigation of all the churches who are doing these exorcisms."
1.Do not lie to yourself. 2.Do not lie to other people, unless they are exercising tyranny. 3.When you think it is your duty to inflict pain, scrutinise your reasons closely. 4.When you desire power, examine yourself carefully as to why you desire it. 5.When you have power, use it to build up people, not to constrict them. 6.Do not attempt to live without vanity, since this is impossible, but choose the right audience from which to seek admiration. 7.Do not think of yourself as separate, wholly self-contained unit. 8.Be reliable. 9.Be just. 10.Be good-natured.

God Willing?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
